beneath the stars you’ll see the end we’ll never see the sun again but if you live until you die you will have left this place alive are you saddened? this song we sing is for the past to all things that would not last kings of our age, we ruled the earth but like all things we fed the curse are you happy now? at the turning of the times what you see now may already be gone what you speak now must have always been true what you dream now may already be gone we are the harvest of the earth though many pray for rebirth but if you live until you die you will have left this place alive yes if you live until you die you will have left this place alive

breathe out, breathe in all these words were never meant to hit the ground so coldly but they do. you’ve lost your friends you lost them in a poker game to keep away the confederates and you did. right now we have chosen quick recovery right now… so mock your kill to strike some fear into all those who’d only make a bigger mess than you would. and lock your doors although you know they’ll never make their way thru the dense autumn mist of your heart. right now we’ll fly kites above the foggy lake right now… right now we have won right now love is true right now we have made this real right now breathe out, breathe in all these words were never meant to hit the floor so coldly but they do.

Driftwood 04:47
countlessly you know you took it endlessly and with greedy hands you sleep faking all your dreams in a farewell scene in one final bow, fast asleep where you need your enemies because you dont have anything when you count me out doomed, a mouse in the snow a common thief, running out on belief with nothing to show I wont hold you back so come confess when did you lose your consciousness? you know I’d help you search for it but you let me go and I wont come back unless you take me back today because we dont have yesterday and I wont hold you back just run, like I knew that you would but let me know why you wont come back why you never came back for me just let me know why you wont come back why you never came back for me just let me know why you wont come back why you never came back…just to see me suffering

it was early in the morning when the stars were not yet gone like a photograph I kept it for luck and I love the sight of evening where time is always new and I hold this view in a jar and I dont know the song that mends the tragedy of my loss and I dont mean to keep you but I dont know when I’ll see you next, I said cause I wont be coming back, I’m staying in the city of my heart I wont be coming back, I’m staying in the city of my heart and the rumors in the vineyard they’ll rot under the sun and the singing of the past makes light of all thats come and the leaves, theyre always changing and the birds, they never die they’re always in the morning chirping at my side and I dont understand how the world of my design could go so wrong but I know that you can you’ll make it right if only for a while and then…as foretold…you’ll take your bow and say goodnight and I wont be coming back, I’m staying in the city of my heart I wont be coming back, I’m staying in the city of my heart I wont come back now
5.
I taught you how to be lonely I know you dont want to waste any time but I do and I told you, but you never did listen that I wont live in a place where emotions are strange where there’s no pain cause you know that it keeps alive and you know it will save me but you dont want to save anyone and I showed you what you should do now when no one, no one will let you say: “I’ll lead the way” cause I’ve seen all of your charts and the pocket map of the stars in your room you’ll be there soon and dont ever say you regret it no, never…never unless you know you do oh I know I’ll miss you but I know… you’ll see that you need to be free of me and all my dreams so free and alive

Turnips 03:35
in opaque breath, in sudden arms insufficience contender fines, inaccurate locator cries you run in circle state of mind, pretentious lines follow decline of resurrection alibi for longing hands, any hand in counter-clock time there you are there you are the rules that break dont make a sound dont carry on the story crown remain mis-lead, miscomprehend the words that claim the right of refusal shakedown you run in circle state of mind
7.
in a bad dream once I was a lost detail so nobody wept for me when I had failed but the best part was my day had only just begun so I laughed a bit over tea with my best friend and I’m always sorry that you know your way home cause I wont last long alone when I was older I cried for I felt nothing left inside but there you are, when I cant go on in your tiny armor there, it’s you, it’s you when the daylight fades we’ll shine our brightest in the vacant hours where sight’s of no use, we move and if midnight breaks we’ll ride forever always wishing life was this good…this good but it’s not, I know
8.
Jesys 04:23
jesus have you lost your son? helpless as anyone the cool air may be tempting but it aint what you need cause I know what it is you seek the righteous made free but patience at the fire side beats being out in the rain and mother have you found your way? the years have renounced their stay as daylight confides in me we wouldnt turn you away sun shine down on me sunshine
9.
in a rainstorm, in a mirror I see smiles that dont belong in one fell swoop I feel it I see a thousand broken hearts I will sing a song to lift my spirits wont you sing along? On a sleepless night I dream it I lie awake, but I dont mind in a play it comes to this, love a monet in the vatican I will sing a song to lift my spirits wont you sing along? wont you sing along?
10.
my life is gone my life’s all I had dont leave me, dont leave me tonight I slowly fled I’m sorry for that please love me, love me and all I meant though youre away I’ll always be there please listen, be safe all the time I know you’re scared I know you’ll forget dont worry, I’ll write all the time my life has passed better now for that these worries, these regrets wont last fortunes may tell but they dont understand love so strong that words cannot match (my life is gone I’m sorry for that terrible, but you knew all along)
